If you were waiting for a day to take a weekend jaunt to see the colors in the hills, Sunday October 20 was the day. We had heard that the warm weather would prevent the display of color this year. Not true! Sunday was a picture perfect, blue skied day which enabled the hillsides to showcase their colors. What a day! Posted in New York State.

White Chocolate, Raspberry, and Almond Molasses Brunettes. 2 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour. 2 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder. 1/4 teaspoon of salt. 14 tablespoons/ 1 1/2 stick 2 tablespoons of butter. 2 cups of white granulated sugar. 1/4 cup of molasses. 1 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla. 1 cup of slivered almonds. 1 cup of white chocolate pieces ( I would add more as the molasses tends to overpower the white chocolate).
