theartydog: January 2011

http://theartydog.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html

Thursday, January 27, 2011. Pain in the neck. What a pain I've had for the last couple of days. Even a trip to the osteopath (& $75 later) didn't help. Some heavy duty painkillers are starting to relax things a little more though. So I've not done a hell of a lot but Miss Beatie did these cute little drawings yesterday and I thought I'd share them with you. Hmmm the top one does look a bit like me? As for this pair, I'm not sure who they resemble? Thursday, January 27, 2011. Tuesday, January 25, 2011.

Wool & Flax: December 2013

http://woolandflaxyarns.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html

A BLOG ABOUT LIFE WITH KNITTING ON THE SIDE. Thursday, December 5, 2013. If you're in Melbourne, Australia you would have experienced winter 5 days into summer today, hail storm and all! Some people might complain about the weather but not me. I love winter and don't mind even if it continues through summer. Not to mention, the cooler it stays the more suitable it is for knitting! But there is still lots of summer fun to be had before that happens. Manos del Uruguay Lace. Stay at home mum. WOOL and FLAX ...

Wool & Flax: November 2012

http://woolandflaxyarns.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html

A BLOG ABOUT LIFE WITH KNITTING ON THE SIDE. Friday, November 9, 2012. A Few Pretty Things to Knit. I think most knitters would agree that there are far too many pretty things to knit and not enough time to knit them in. I always seem to find myself looking up pretty patterns on Ravelry and putting them in my favourites folder with the plan that I might knit them one day, some day, whenever that may be. Here are a few that I hope to knit in the next year. I spotted this pretty cowl on Pinterest. WOOL and...

Bright Red Cherries: July 2010

http://brightredcherries.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html

Wednesday, July 21, 2010. Just finished writing my first tutorial that will be tested out at the next Adelaide Brown Owls. Meeting. If it goes well I'll post it up on the blog. Granted it's not a very unique pin cushion - I'm sure there are loads of instructions on how to make these pin cushions but when I sat down a few months ago to make mine for the Foxs Lane. Swap I just followed my instinct rather than searching the web for instructions. Fingers crossed the instructions I've written are OK! Thursday...

Go Mama!: Across the Story Bridge....

http://gomama-sewing.blogspot.com/2010/09/across-story-bridge.html

Thursday, September 02, 2010. Across the Story Bridge. This year's theme was "Across the Story Bridge" which was interpreted as being any story book character. Jai showed how similar he is to his big brother and wanted to dress up as Rascal from Paul Jennings " Rascal the Dragon. And I mentioned that Mr Twit could be a good option (Jordan had previously rejected my earlier suggestions of 'Captain Underpants' or David from "The Fire Within") Jordan thankfully thought this was a good idea so off to the op ...
