I love the season and the magic it brings, but we decided a couple years ago we were going to simplify our holiday season and it has been the best thing. I LOVE this decoration at my grandma's house. These are real ice skates her and my grandpa used on the lake behind their ranch when it would freeze. She is going to be a great mom.

She pulled both teeth out all by herself. Love that toothless grin. Yes we are all fake sleeping but this is how we spend almost every night. After the Koko Head hike we didn't have anything planned so we just explored the island. We ended up going to the most amazing beach (and my favorite on the island). It was called Sandy Beach. The hard thing about being in Hawaii is the time change. Since it is 4 hours behind Utah time.getting up "early" was a piece of cake. Staying up late was harder. :). We had some breakfast and then waited for the tour group to come get us to take us on another adventure. Today's stop was Hanauma Bay. A gorgeous sunset to end an awesome day.

The railroad ties that make up the stairs for the trail were once part of an incline tram system during World War II. They used them to haul military personnel and supplies to the top of Koko Crater.
