January 22, 2009. Before I get into any details about anything, here’s a little bit of cute to get you started. No, Roscoe and Mosby don’t really like each other all that much. How we coaxed them to stay in the same bed long enough to take pictures I just don’t know. This is what $176 buys. December 28, 2008. I hope everyon...

Hi, It's Terri ...: Hamily Heir-Loom Weavers
http://itsterri.blogspot.com/2010/11/hamily-heir-loom-weavers.html
Hi, It's Terri . Friday, November 05, 2010. On Wednesday I went on a road trip with the Central Pennsylvania Handweavers Guild (CPHG) to Red Lion, PA and the textile mill Family Heir-Loom Weavers. It was a great fall day for a drive in the country. The mill is located in what was once an old dairy building. I found the tour by David Kline fascinating. Coverlets. Instead of coverlets with geometric shapes you could have animals, buildings, etc. When recreating any pattern David said the first step in the ...

Hi, It's Terri . Sunday, August 08, 2010. I Have a Glimakra! Did I need another loom? Not particularly. Did I want to own a Glimakra? It helps having friends who are bad influences. I got an email about a loom in the Philadelphia area for a very good price. It was a 40" wide, 8-shaft, counterbalance and countermarch Glimakra with no extra accessories like reeds. Turns out someone else got the loom. I looked on the Spinners', Weavers' and Knitters' Housecleaning Pages. Here is the bad influence. It has al...

http://itsterri.blogspot.com/2010/09/antiques-roadshow.html
Hi, It's Terri . Thursday, September 16, 2010. I brought along the book " American Coverlets and Their Weavers. Where James Cunningham is listed with his bio and a picture of this coverlet done in blue and white. The coverlet was appraised by Beth Szescila. Who specializes in rugs and textiles and decorative arts. Beth said it was one of the nicest she has seen and because of the condition she appraised it, at auction, between $3,000 - $4,000. NO KIDDING, Terri, congratulations! What a cool coverlet!

Hi, It's Terri . Tuesday, February 09, 2010. Which Path Should I Take? We have paths all over the backyard. One path to the horse field, another to the driveway, and the last going to my workshop. It looks like a maze out there. Sammy the Lab took one of the paths and didn't know how to get back. He stood out there barking then tried to cut across but the snow was too deep. I had to go out and rescue him. Sunday, February 07, 2010. I Survived the Blizzard of 2010. Sunday morning we awoke to a beautiful c...

Pleasant & Delightful: March 2015
http://melissaweaves.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Traditional hand weaving, tartans and fine linens; traditional and ethnic knitting and a little spinning on the side. Lots of music, too - old songs from Ireland, Scotland and England. Thursday, March 26, 2015. There are clear signs of spring in our part of the world - warmer temperatures on some days, the maple buds are growing visibly every warm day and today the mailman wore shorts! Northampton, Massachusetts has many local treasures. For the knitter-weaver-spinner type person, there is WEBS. And some...
