All about my journey. Montag, 3. Dezember 2012. What a good feeling! The next day we took a jeepney and finally in the middle of nowhere the driver stopped and said: “Here is Apo Reef Club, just walk down this road…” And we did and after a few hundred meters we arrived in the wonderful resort and understood why it was better to stay the night before in Sablayan ;-). All about my journey. Samstag, 14. April 2012. Turkana Tour - Trip to the cradle of mankind. The group arrived the first of April on Lake Baringo and we celebrated the evening with a sundowner drink, a ceremony we would stick on for the next two weeks. All about my journey. Mittwoch, 24. Oktober 2012. On the „road“ again! Still our backpacks show us off as backpackers. So how about the hitchhiking? In our next destination is no unique sign for it (At home it’s thumb up, in Ethiopia you show a finger per passenger). Also it’s said that people don’t do it at all. Und als hätten sie es geahnt, sind die Österreicher derzeit das liebenswerteste Volk der Erde. Es hätte heute auch ganz anders kommen können, das muss man wissen. Weil Mme Äirini hat sich heute in die Höhle des Löwen begeben und merken müssen: "Nanu, so lebensbedrohlich ist das ja gar nicht.". Alternativkarriere um 1:35 (inkl. knappes Hösli). Sonntag, 24. März 2013. So bricht er also an. Der letzte ganze Tag in der Steiermark. Mme Äirini tanzt zwar nicht auf den Tischen, aber fast. Nochmals wird etwas geputzt und M muss in die Hosen steigen, aber dann gibt es feiner Zmittagschmaus bei J, wo wir wiederum wohnen. Der letzte Putztag an der Schillerstrasse 16 und die Wohnung glänzt wie neu. Mittwoch, 20. März 2013. Da geht sie hin. END OF A KITCHEN -. Übrigens. Es ist beim Rausnehmen des Backofens rausgekommen, dass wir in den letzten Tagen (Wochen? Wohl nur haarscharf einem Brand entgangen sind: das eine Kabel für irgendeine Platte war vollkommen durchgeschmörzelt und es war wohl nur pures Glück, dass wir jetzt Möbel raustragen dürfen, anstatt Asche zu fegen. Freitag, 15. März 2013. Brr Unlängst waren es ja 18 laue Grad und eitler Sonnenschein und jetzt das. Ein eisiger antarktischer Wind fegt durch die Täler und oben im hintersten Tal hat es heute Nacht schneesturmartige Telemetriemomente gegeben. Weil dann bin i da und dann brauchen S den Vertrag gar nicht organisieren.". Das hab ich also heute nicht organisiert und bin trotzdem wieder neu angemeldet in lovely K. Da hat Mme Äirini laut und entzückt aufgelacht und sich wieder voll gefreut über Österreich.

Dienstag, 18. September 2012. G ist natürlich genau dann abgehauen als ich mit irgendwelchen Ausweichmanövern beschäftigt war. Spannend war es trotzdem, weil sie ist dann Hans begegnet und die beiden sind einträchtig ein paar hundert Meter miteinander geschwommen. Ich stand zu diesem Zeitpunkt auf einer Brücke und hab schon wieder angestrengt ins Wasser geschaut. In der dumben Hoffnung, ich würde G und ihre potentiellen Jünglinge sehen. Donnerstag, 22. Dezember 2011. Ein durchaus gelungener Abschluss, findet Mme Äirini. Ab morgen heisst es wieder einmal mehr: Pfiat Eich! Auf dass das 2012 etwas weniger turbulent aber nicht weniger erlebnisreich wird. Frau hat schon einige Projekte, aber mehr verrate ich hier noch nicht. Immer tapfer der Nase nach, aber nicht immer klar, wohin des Weges. Der Schnee hat mich, resp das Auto inkognitisiert und inspirierte zu Manövern, die nirgendswo im "easy driver" erwähnt sind.
