We all have part of the answer. Thursday, January 25, 2007. What can I say. life goes on. The Fallout Art Co-op is filling up with artists. My long period of being the only lone camper in the art co-op space is done and it is good to have neighbors. Put Down the Muffin is getting some gigs. Our gig at the Fineline went really well, and I sent a CD and cover letter to The Current radio station in hopes that they will find a song or two to play. And the Fallout website. Welcome back my friend.
Bruce Edward: July 2006
http://bruceedward.blogspot.com/2006_07_01_archive.html
We all have part of the answer. Sunday, July 16, 2006. An Art Co-op Begins. May was a month of construction and June was a month of meetings in an effort to get the Arts Co-op launched. Going from the exhausting process of remodeling a duplex right into remodeling a 100 year old building into an Art Co-op has been a bit overwhelming. We have had to both build and remodel this beautiful old building. AND try to get the word out about it. Well that's the quick blurb! Your service to us was inspirational!

messy spectacles: September 2005
http://jeffmacsimus.blogspot.com/2005_09_01_archive.html
Musings and meditations about God, Knowledge, Life, the Universe, etc. Tuesday, September 27, 2005. Diary of a Crazed Caucasian Caregiver. OK, faithful blogfollowers, remember the underwear incident? For those of you who weren't here then or just need a refresher, click here. Well, everything comes back around. Dear, sweet Tom is at it again. Our Fear Factor Challenge this week? It's not so bad - only two out of the eight blankets he has on his bed are practically rotting where they lay. This morning, I ...
messy spectacles: October 2005

Musings and meditations about God, Knowledge, Life, the Universe, etc. Friday, October 21, 2005. I am officially convinced that Wednesdays are Mental Illness Night at OfficeMax. Last week, I went in to pick up these funky disposable fountain pens that Dr. Jones turned me on to (there's just something about that tactile scratchy non-ballpoint feeling, you know? So last night, I went to pick up a notebook (what happened to narrow ruled, people? You DO NOT HAVE these! Yeah, we do! They can't do that! Why is...

Musings and meditations about God, Knowledge, Life, the Universe, etc. Sunday, June 25, 2006. The Shape of Things. Okay, so I've been quiet for a while. Here's what's happening. As far as blogging is concerned, it's been a mixed bag. I can't tell you how many times I've thought, "I could SO blog about this," but it hasn't felt right. Not that I don't want to share, because there have been any number of sacred moments, but because I was/am afraid of turning this blog into a cancer diary. Bleh. You know wh...
messy spectacles: Yuletide Musings
http://jeffmacsimus.blogspot.com/2006/12/yuletide-musings.html
Musings and meditations about God, Knowledge, Life, the Universe, etc. Monday, December 25, 2006. I came home a bit early to avoid the holiday rush and sat down to a typical night of channel-surfing, when what to my wondering eyes did appear but a listing in the on-screen guide for "Yule Log." So now I'm sitting here, blogging, basking in the light of a six-hour showing of a fireplace, captured in full high-definition glory. Call me crazy, but it's warm. homey. lovely. messy spectacles: Sabbath Gleanings
http://jeffmacsimus.blogspot.com/2006/05/sabbath-gleanings.html
Musings and meditations about God, Knowledge, Life, the Universe, etc. Saturday, May 06, 2006. Last night, as I was watching the weather forecast, I decided today would be a School-Sabbath. I would not so much as practice the presence of papers, finals, essay revisions. I would take care of the other neglected elements of my life and just be. Until the sun sets. He'll eventually find a tree or figure a way to go down the telephone pole. Now I want to be like Daisy, waiting patiently in spite of things th...
messy spectacles: The Karma of Care: Strange Places
http://jeffmacsimus.blogspot.com/2006/06/karma-of-care-strange-places.html
Musings and meditations about God, Knowledge, Life, the Universe, etc. Sunday, June 25, 2006. The Karma of Care: Strange Places. Lately, I've been feeling like a human Care Engine. My June flew by with days spent attending to dad and nights at work. Dad is, to borrow an adjective from an unfortunate context, a "flaming" extrovert. Asking him to sit alone at mom's condo all day is akin to asking George W. Bush to pull off a convincing Hamlet. It's just not in his nature. G'night, Jeffy" he whispers. Tears...

We all have part of the answer. Monday, April 30, 2007. Matt Patrick's movin' in! I am VERY excited to announce that Matt Patrick and myself are expanding our space in the Fallout arts co-op and joining forces to create one big, beautiful music studio! I will continue to teach music lessons, but this will greatly expand the capacity to record music. Soooo lots of new birth, mixed with some birthing pains. Thanks a TON again for all your support!
