Reports From Somewhere on the Road in America. Tuesday, September 9, 2008. Back to the Bighorn Mountain Area. We left the Grand Teton National Park yesterday after spending four days in the Gros Ventre (Grow Vaunt) area. The Teatons are "new" mountains as measured in mountain years and they are the most rugged peaks we have ever seen. The mountains are beautiful but the area is so rugged and inaccessible that most of our sightseeing was done from the car. Posted by Rich and Maggie. States We Have Visited.

Reports From Somewhere on the Road in America. Monday, September 1, 2008. We are starting the return leg of our trip on Wednesday. The next stop will be the Grand Teton National Park. Just south of Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. We have had a great time here in the Sun Valley area. The fishing is wonderful and there are many great restaurants close by. Garey and Donna have been great hosts and have made sure that we saw a lot of the highlights of the area. Posted by Rich and Maggie.

Even though this is the fourth winter we have spent in the Everglades, Maggie and I have never been on an airboat. So we decided to go on an airboat tour with some friends that live near us in the RV Resort. Here are a few "up close and personal" pictures of alligators encountered on our trip.
