A War on Two Fronts. A World War Two miniature figurine Blog by a perennial underachiever. Featuring 15mm and 28mm painting and modelling. Wednesday, 14 January 2015. When's an M5 half track not an M5? When you realise you've bought a box of M3 half tracks, complete with US crew for your Brit force. D'oh! You'd think the American infantry would be a big give away! 2 and 1/2 infantry sections. On the painting desk. On the desk I have the battlefront Desert Rats in Normandy infantry. I'm going for a la...

Lucid Gaming: 21 July - 20 July Napoleonic Game vs The Uncle
http://lucid-gaming.blogspot.com/2015/07/21-july-20-july-napoleonic-game-vs-uncle.html
Across the Dead Earth. Dr Who Miniatures Game. Tuesday, 21 July 2015. 21 July - 20 July Napoleonic Game vs The Uncle. As I stated I was playing a Russian force against a French force fielded by The Uncle with some German and Belgium allies. The game played well and by the end of the first turn I had the movement rules sorted and picked up the combat and morale rules within a couple of rolls. Shooting works on a D20 system with melee using a D6. Labels: A.A.R. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Brains and guts: Zombies
http://lordsiwoc.blogspot.com/2015/05/zombies.html
Torsdag den 14. maj 2015. There are different kinds of zombies. Going from fast zombies, smart zombies and shambling zombies. Oh and radioactive ones as well. Which kind do you fear? Oh I do not fear any of them! I know enough to battle them all! I am sure you are correct. But that did not really answer my question. I was part of a weekend of HUMANS VERSUS ZOMBIES. Nerfguns. In this the zombies were fast, sneaky and many! In my games I like to have all of them actually. Scary prospects in facing any ...

Trials of a Casual War gamer: April 2016
http://trialsofacasualwargamer.blogspot.com/2016_04_01_archive.html
Trials of a Casual War gamer. Saturday, 30 April 2016. Got the Terrain Bug Again! After my Amera Plastics terrain I subscribed to the channel that helped me paint them. It's Lukes Affordable Paint Service. That's the Facebook link he is on YouTube also. He aims at finding cheap but good alternatives to painting and terrain making. On one video he had found a cheap water effect from Poundland! After the filler I sanded down a lot of the edges making it a touch smoother. Then it was into painting! Next u...

http://trialsofacasualwargamer.blogspot.com/2017_01_01_archive.html
Trials of a Casual War gamer. Wednesday, 25 January 2017. A few blog posts ago I mentioned while at a model shop in Wales I had bought a church from the excellent Amera Plastics. 160; After finishing my airbourne force for bolt action I have started to build the church. The church was simple to put together requiring a bit of cutting but nothing major and stuck together great with poly cement. The assembled church (the green stuff is down to my poor cutting than the product lol). Carved with a pen.
