Bruny Island Experience - Getting Here. Bruny Island has no public transport, so you will need to bring your own car or hire a car. Europcar, Hertz, Thrifty and Budget all hire cars in Hobart and this can be arranged in advance or at the airport. AVIS and Europcar also operate in Tasmania, however they do not currently allow their vehicles to travel to Bruny Island. We'll send additional guest info following your reservation.
