The Writings of Bruzz Bethel. Thursday, July 15, 2010. The Four Hole Toilet. I have been pondering the concept of the multi-hole toilet for 70 years. My concerns on this subject normally occur when I am seated in a 2 hole outhouse with the door locked, gazing at the empty seat beside me, while harbouring great feelings of guilt for not sharing. Some of our neighbours had two and three hole toilets—a design I could not comprehend. Did the whole family have to go at once? Who designed the three holer?
