Deseret, Cactus, & Texas: October 2014

http://www.bryanandfelicia.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html

Deseret, Cactus, and Texas. Sunday, October 19, 2014. Felicia went to Salt Lake this week to have a little reunion with her family. Her Mom, Sister, and her Brothers were all there at her Aunt Patty's house. A few others were also in the area. Haley and Eric convinced Felicia to go to this Rock Opera horror show called "Deep Love". I have no idea what it is about but it originated in Rexburg, ID. Then I saw an invasion of jeeps coming my way. I forgot to mention that Johnny started to crawl last week.

Deseret, Cactus, and Texas. Sunday, November 30, 2014. The Gang's All Here. Happy Thanksgiving! We had a great Thanksgiving at the Reese's house in Tucson. It began with the arrival of Gordon and Alison with our Grandson, John. Soon they were out enjoying the Tucson sun. This first hike was very short because Felicia needed to be picked up from Tennis. Johnny got to where his elf suit back at the house. The yellow blur is the construction hat he was playing with. We reached the bottom of the canyon.

Deseret, Cactus, & Texas: Father's Day and Buffalo Bill

http://www.bryanandfelicia.blogspot.com/2015/06/fathers-day-and-buffalo-bill.html

Deseret, Cactus, and Texas. Sunday, June 21, 2015. Father's Day and Buffalo Bill. I watched over the years as Father's Day at church has fallen victim to the gender equality mantra and the latest PC paradigm of 'offend no one'. When I was young, the ritual handing out of gifts after sacrament meeting was reserved for mothers on Mother's Day, only. Then it was an individual pansy. (When my Dad was bishop, he challenged himself by calling out the name of each woman receiving the flower). Campo Bonito was e...

Deseret, Cactus, & Texas: May 2014

http://www.bryanandfelicia.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html

Deseret, Cactus, and Texas. Sunday, May 25, 2014. I started cleaning the garage on Saturday and was suddenly informed by Felicia that we needed to paint the kid's bathroom today. Huh? Well, happy wife means a happy life so off we went to home depot. She liked this color called Pecan Sandie. But then I remembered a cookie my mom used to buy that was made by these little guys that had a factory in a hollow tree. I wonder if they got in trouble with Home Depot for trademark infringement. Sunday, May 18, 2014.

Life's a Filet of Fish: June 2013

http://gordonandalison.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html

Life's a Filet of Fish. Sunday, June 16, 2013. Summertime in Equatorial Manhattan. We just got back from a jam-packed week of running to trains, dodging puddles, and wandering around in enormous buildings. There are a lot of places where you can do that, but arguably the most famous is New York City. Most common occurrence: the back of someone's head. If Cookie Monster can wait, so can I. Of course, we get into a city that I've never visited before in the dark in a thunderstorm. Defying my conception of ...

Life's a Filet of Fish: July 2014

http://gordonandalison.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html

Life's a Filet of Fish. Sunday, July 6, 2014. Yes, I haven't been updating nearly regularly enough.ly. I last left off in March. Considering that it is now late June, I'm going to rather expeditiously breeze through some of the goings-on. This mainly consists of an epic photo dump. We met my mom in the Phoenix airport, because that was apparently the cheapest route to fly. Being a Reese function, there was of course plenty of candies. Grandpa actually already had the headstone done long before his death.

Life's a Filet of Fish: August 2013

http://gordonandalison.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html

Life's a Filet of Fish. Sunday, August 18, 2013. I wish I were a better blogger. I don't often get a nice block of time to just spew out clever turns of phrase and snappy pictures, and so I often just say "I'll get to it later." Of course, the longer I go without writing, the harder it becomes. So here's me, giving it another go! Pretty soon this will be me anytime we go somewhere with Baby. Busier at work, and Alison's mom has. On the unpaved dirt paths when I go to visit. I've also scheduled a buil...

Life's a Filet of Fish: October 2014

http://gordonandalison.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html

Life's a Filet of Fish. Tuesday, October 28, 2014. It'snot really very cool yet. Hey, it's been 2 months. Guess I'd better update. In an effort to bolster concert attendance, the Houston Symphony Orchestra has been holding a lot of Pops concerts, including this one that was held in the Cynthia Woodlands Pavillionlands. It was very hot. Does he look sick to you? Not quite crawling yet. However, John still had a fever, so we visited the doctor a couple of times. He was prescribed antibiotics and probiotic ...

I love you for so, so many reasons (see above picture for one). Not the least of these are being secretly brilliant. Alive in your heart and phone (Long Live SBmails! And for being generally awesome. All internet based evidence aside, you are truly. Thanks for being great and always caring for me. Which brings me to.

http://gordonandalison.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html

Life's a Filet of Fish. Monday, May 26, 2014. So, after our wet but fun Memorial Day-ing, Gordon and I started looking through some photos on the computer and I said, "This makes me want to blog! He responded, "Yeah, about that.". So, here I am writing a post as we sit in our den listening to the original motion picture soundtrack to Jon Favreau's latest and greatest movie, Chef. Anyway, we had lots of fun Saturday, and more today. Hooray for holiday weekends! Below are some fun shots from the day. Alici...

Life's a Filet of Fish: December 2014

http://gordonandalison.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html

Life's a Filet of Fish. Tuesday, December 9, 2014. Now Christmas Can Officially Start! It's been over a month since an update. I guess I better put up pictures and talk about stuff. If you're into that kind of thing. There have been two major holidays since my last update, which necessarily requires recaps. We had almost all the Gibbs family in Houston for Halloween. John was supposed to get a Star Trek outfit, but shipping delays brought us to a last-resort: Superman. Ignore the weird pano haxes. A sad ...

Life's a Filet of Fish. Sunday, February 15, 2015. Valentines and Reese's Times. Part I: Valentine's Day 2014. First and foremost, it is. And I can't help but take a moment and say something about this guy:. Has it really been more than two years? Where does the time go? In some ways, it seems like this photo from after our honeymoon was pretty recent, and yet in the past year, ,. Our "baby: John turned one,. We celebrated our second anniversary (with the last of our cake),. AND you turned 30! Or, you kn...

Life's a Filet of Fish. Wednesday, May 20, 2015. Working 9 to 5.more like 7-6"M" . Yeahwell here are a few highlights from life. I'm attempting to do something hard with my career and that has been sapping my energy. Since that effort has been more or less stalled, here's what's been going on since.like February. John continues his lifelong obsession with hats. He also learned to walk on grass. Before this he would stand still in grass and cry. What he may look like with a mustache. Hey, I know you!

They go to a charter school so there are about 10 kids total on the bus which is great and we only live 1.5 miles from the school so there ride is super short. The one down side. it was FREZZING OUT.
