June 25, 2013. I have lots of great memories of picking our own food as child. One in particular was a summer day when my mom drove us out to go strawberry picking. That evening she made fresh biscuits and we had strawberry shortcake for supper! Once in awhile when local strawberries are ripe I repeat this dinner for Bryan and I. If you've never tried a local strawberry you must! I got too excited about the strawberries and didn't get a before picture. Here they are mashed up. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
