We did super touristy things: double decker bus tour, Sears (Willis) Tower, pics in front of the bean - or cloud, walked a lot, and had deep dish pizza! The baseball was definitely the highlight of the trip. We saw the Jays play 3 games at US Cellular Field vs the White Sox. Our hotel was conveniently located quite close to this ballpark, and was nice! Chalk it up to another unforgettable trip with my favourite person! Where do I start?

Life is a journey, not a destination. Sunday, May 31, 2015. Spruce Woods Ultra 10 mile Night Race. Easily the most challenging race I have ever done! And that includes full marathons! I lost my footing a few times - running down a sandy hill in the dark, I guess it's bound to happen. I didn't bail, but I did carve up my ankles a bit! Life is a journey, not a destination. Friday, August 29, 2014. Hike and a half. Over two days and taking almost 10 hours of hiking, Aaron and I took on the Spruce Woods Newfoundland Trail. Overall, it was awesome! We were the only ones out there on the 42 kilometer trail. It was peaceful but also physically challenging. The physical aspect was not just the 42 kms, but it was very hilly, portions of the trail were sand, and our packs were about 40lbs. Here are some pictures of our Spruce Woods adventure:.

Life is a journey, not a destination. Friday, December 26, 2014. Its been a while. August: Riding Mountain Duathlon. 2.5km run, 20 km bike, 5km run. Was a lot of fun! Seeing a triathlon start was so exciting though, definitely got bit by a new bug and look forward to participating in a tri (or two) next year! Ooooh, and I'm a homeowner now! September: To start the month off, I officiated two weddings in one day! Then, the month was full of back to school general hustle and bustle! 2 full days of it!
