Sunday, January 12, 2014. He was so excited! He came back home and Heath and I went back with him to the creek to let it go. On the way to the trap. A picture with his first catch! Daddy teaching him how to 'catch and release'. Austin was in bed sick for a few days after Christmas, so he missed out on all this fun. Believe me, they've caught several more since then. Monday, November 11, 2013. Guess Who Got Braces? Last Monday, Kamden had a consultation with the orthodontist because the space between his two front teeth is keeping his other two front teeth from erupting. He recommended that we do a limited set of braces on the front top teeth to pull them together so the others can come down. The sooner we could start this process the better off we will be so he got braces today! He told me 'that didn't hurt at all! Here is his picture with his new braces. The boys c...

Sunday, December 15, 2013. The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year! It's so hard to believe in a little over a week Santa will be here! We have been having lots of fun around here getting ready for Christmas. Kamden did most of the tree decorating this year since Austin is just too grown up for us now. Since my last post, we have spent a week in Louisiana for spring break, I got a 'job', baseball is in full swing, the boys got their report cards, and we got some GREAT news. Thursday, May 30, 2013. Our plans are to move outside of Tulsa/Broken Arrow this time so we can put the boys in a smaller school system. Plus, we want to find a house with some acreage so Austin and Kamden can have enough space to shoot their guns or 'go on an adventure in the woods' if they want to. Sunday, March 10, 2013. Austin and Kamden bought themselves pellet guns this weekend. Yesterday was so busy they didn't get time to shoot them so this afternoon, as soon as the rain stopped, they were gone hunting. A few minutes later, Austin came home with his first kill a squirrel! I can see it now, every week when Heath gets home from Tulsa he's going to have a freezer full of animals to clean. :). Yesterday we had beautiful weather! Hiking up the 2/3 mile hill to get to the bottom of the mountain.

Monday, July 22, 2013. As I mentioned in my previous post, Kamden had his 7th birthday while we were in Jena. He didn't want a party; he just wanted to go bowling.
