My name is Bryan and I am seventeen years old. I was born with kidney failure due to posterior urethral valves (obstructive uropathy). Even before I was born the doctors told my Mom and Dad that I would die, but I'm way too stubborn! You can ask my Mom about that! I have had a lot of surgeries and was on peritoneal dialysis at home from age one until I was five. Then my Mom gave me one of her kidneys. I also have been diagnosed with autism. My Mommy was born in Barstow, California in 1972. This is her first picture. It doesn't even look like Mommy! My Mommy moved around a lot when she was little because my Grandpa Burton worked for the FAA. He retired in January of 1998. Mommy has a little brother named Steven. I can't believe that Mommy and Uncle Steven were ever this small! Get a load of these pictures! Can you guess who is who? My Mommy is on the left and I am on the right. EEWWWW!
