Where are we now? November 1, 2014. Hello from Western Australia. Riding around Rottnest Island. Nothing beats chasing waves. We made it 1.8km to the end of Busselton Jetty. An area near the beach that was burned in a wildfire. We loved the beautiful sunsets. Walking down to the beach. The best way to visit the vineyards. Is with a tour. do you have a Skipper? Running around the vineyard. While Mom and Dad taste wine. Feeding the animals at a petting zoo. A momma kangaroo but we never saw her joey!

The Dad: There is a fly-in this weekend and depending on the cost of the flights, I would like the boy to go for a ride in one of the small airplanes with me. The Mom: That is fine. I don't want to be there though, I will be too nervous. The Dad: I will be sure to take pictures. The conversation via cell phone right after the flight. The Dad: I got some good pictures and we had lots of fun. The Boy: Mom, I flew the airplane! The Dad: The boy.

Thursday, November 4, 2010. For us, it was no surprise that the boy rocked his first report card. He is such an amazing little man and just so smart! He continues to amaze me everyday with his reading. We are currently reading 2nd grade material from Hooked on Phonics. Just trying to figure out which books to tackle next. I even dressed up too but no pictures because it was a group shot and not all the kid's parents gave picture rights. Everyone had lots of fun though, even the parents!
