Monday, June 6, 2011. Monday morning, June 6. Bruce is approaching 2 weeks of 3 pills a day. The side effects have increased but he's managing them well. The sore throat he's had for over 2 weeks is increasing. Food doesn't taste good. So we've tried different approaches to find something appetizing like having potato chips as a side dish (a vegetable, perhaps? Sugar is the most appealing to him. So.bring on the cake and ice cream! Tuesday, May 31, 2011. So appreciate and need your prayers that Bruce would begin sleeping well, side effects would be minimal, tumors would be blasted by this medication and wisdom for decisions. Yes, yes and yes! We love you all. THANKYOU for walking thru this journey with us. As the song goes, "Trusting Jesus, that is all! Thursday, May 26, 2011. Megan arrived home safely and we're loving every minute of having her around. :) Luke and Zach were super excited to see Aunt May-May. Tuesday, May 24, 2011.

Tuesday, June 21, 2011. Tuesday, June 21. Good morning. We're all home again. We had a super time in Ocean Isle. Bruce really enjoyed golfing a couple of days with Tom and Thomas. We spent a lot of time at the beach or in the pool. It was way too challenging to do much more with 2 four year olds, an 8 month old and a 4 week old. Whew! But then, we really didn't have to look far for entertainment, the kids provided it. :) What a blessing to be together for a week, so thankful. Tuesday, June 21.

Tuesday, June 21, 2011. Bruce heard from Dr. Corn and he wants Bruce to continue with 4 pills. He also said original pathology slides from Bruce's first bout with kidney cancer confirm that the new tumors are the same type of cancer. That was what Dr. Corn expected to find. He did talk to MDA and they had some suggestions for managing some of his side effects that are kind of annoying to him. I will update as soon as we hear something.
