Nothing is as constant as change

Nothing is as constant as change. Wednesday, January 7, 2015. I posted this picture to Facebook just before Christmas and promised to share the surprise after Christmas. Here's the whole story of our Christmas building project. These packages were given to four grandchildren whose parents gave them new bedrooms for Christmas. Medium-density fiberboard ( MDF. Is generally denser than plywood.). I'm pretty skilled at the drill press and cut screw holes for the cleats that would hold the shelves. This cabin...

Nothing is as constant as change: Project - DONE!

http://www.bryceandlaurie.blogspot.com/2014/10/project-done.html

Nothing is as constant as change. Friday, October 31, 2014. When we moved into our house six years ago, I decided I would like a headboard for our king sized bed. Our basement was unfinished at the time, and so this project got pushed to the back burner. Finally a few months ago we were able to get started on it. Here's the project in pictures. Join three pieces of oak faced plywood with biscuits, glue, clamp, let dry. Rig up a fancy compass and make a curve the size of the top of the headboard. Bryce ha...

Nothing is as constant as change: 2011 Christmas Letter

http://www.bryceandlaurie.blogspot.com/p/christmas-letter-2011.html

Nothing is as constant as change. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! You have found Bryce and Laurie's 2011. Here's what we've been up to in 2011:. I (Laurie) have been singing with American Festival Chorus. Since it began in 2008. Bryce has been a faithful fan, but has never felt that he could join in, however he did join the development committee last year. This year that changed, and it started with opera. This summer, members of the choir were invited to join in a production of " Boris Godunov".

Nothing is as constant as change. Sunday, June 3, 2012. If only / Shoulda (Good bye Smiley Face). We missed this little notice in the paper:. Friday afternoon, the Smiley Face came down from the mountain. It's exciting to watch a helicopter going so close to your house, but also horrifying to think that our icon was coming down. My first experience with Smiley Face was September 25, 2009, just a little over a year after moving back to Logan. Nan and Kim and I braved the climb. On October 29 the following...

Mountain dew with mango puree, the syrup just isn't the right effect. The Real Life of Mark and Em.

Well hopefully you've all guessed that we have actually made it to Florida, even though we haven't said a whole lot about it. So far our move has been quite adventurous if I do say so myself. The airport itself was uneventful as was the flight to Denver. Jackson fell asleep during take off and woke up just as we were landing, every parents dream! We arrived in Florida and were literally smacked in the face with humidity, phew! More to come soon! Next installment: 'Church with no Car'. Anyway, I know this...

EVERYDAY BRINGS NEW MEMORIES. Thursday, October 23, 2014. Why yes I will take a week off. My boss is gone to a medical conference this week and rather than work elsewhere I am enjoying the week at home. I do have training for our new electronic medical record program multiple times but it's 1/2 my usual work hours in a week so it's still a break. We have had lots of fun; playing at the park, seeing cousins, watching cartoons together and spending time cooking/baking. So many things to see and point out.

Deep in the heart of Germany

Wednesday, March 16, 2016. January 16, 2016 @ 11:30am. On Saturday, January 16th, my water broke at 8am while I was laying in bed with my husband and kids as we were slow to rise that morning. I jumped out of bed in order to avoid soaking the bed. TMI? We dropped the kids off and headed to the hospital. We arrived at the ER a little after 9 am. I wasn't preregisted so I had to sign paper work. This is when my contractions really started to pick up but they weren't that painful. It was still horrible.
