Our grapes are planted in blocks reflecting differences in slope, elevation and exposure, as well as the Lauer family members for whom each block has been named. 8212; our oldest block named for our oldest son. Jeffrey’s block was planted between 1994 and 1997. It has a southeast slope and contains mostly Pinot Noir, with a smattering of Chardonnay and Tempranillo grapes. We are one of the few vineyards in the Willamette Valley that has attempted Tempranillo, fortunately with much success.
