Vi produserer uhøvlet materialer slik som bord, plank, kvistfri furu og pallebord. Men størstedelen må gjennom høvleriet der det blir høvlet og justert til lekter/plank og kledning. Vi leverer også produktene som trykkimpregnert trelast. Utenom dette så blir det biprodukter som bark, spon og flis. Den tørre høvelflisen brukes i fyringsanlegget til tørking av trelast. Sagflisen blir levert til Huntonit, Vennesla. Barken blir stort sett solgt ut til privatpersoner som henter selv i tilhengere.

Sagbruket startet opp 09.10.1986 då med eit forbruk på ca. 40.000 m3 tømmer/år på et skift. Navnet var då KS Byglandsfjord Sag AS, og var altså eit kommandittselskap. Dette firma ble i 1988 overtatt av ANS Byglandsfjord Sag, som består av følgende eiere:. Marnar Bygg II AS, 52 % eierandel (dette eies i sin helhet av Per Birkeland, som og er daglig leder) og Leif Hübert AS som har 48% eierandel. Sagavdelingen ble totalrenovert i 2002.
