http://cakemamacakes.blogspot.com/2010/10/baby-shower-cake.html
Who is the Cake Mama? View my complete profile. Tuesday, October 19, 2010. Jen requested a baby shower cake for her sister's shower. I knew that she was having a boy and wanted to do something with blue. Jen found the "Naturally Curly" cake at Wilton.com and what a perfect cake it was! The head was a chocolate cake with peanut butter filling and the body was a yellow cake with buttercream. Everything else you see is fondant. Lots of fondant. I love his belly button! This was a fun one to make again and I'm so happy I got to make the pink diaper. ;). Debra requested this cake for her coworker's baby shower. Both cakes are white cake with a creamy buttercream filling and topped and decorated with fondant. Lots of it. Many blessings to the mom-to-be! I hope the rest of her pregnancy is comfortable and quick! Labels: baby cake for a girl.

Who is the Cake Mama? View my complete profile. Friday, December 19, 2014. BEST Cut-Out Cookies. Ever. My daughter received her 1st Reconciliation last weekend. To celebrate, I made these cross cut-out cookies. I've shared my cut-out cookie recipe in the past, but this time, I think I made them even BETTER. I added browned butter to the dough. It made these cookies melt-in-your mouth delicious. I can't wait to make them again! Congratulations to my Jo-Jo on her very special day! 1 3/4 cups sugar. This wa...

Cake Mama: An Umizoomi Birthday Party
http://cakemamacakes.blogspot.com/2015/04/an-umizoomi-birthday-party.html
Who is the Cake Mama? View my complete profile. Sunday, April 26, 2015. An Umizoomi Birthday Party. My Maren has been a fan of Team Umizoomi for quite some time now. If you're unfamiliar with the show, let me explain that the show is on Nick Jr. and it's all about math; patterns, measuring, numbers and shapes. I enjoy the show but not nearly as much as my daughter. So it made sense that we would celebrate her 3rd birthday with a party all about her favorite show. A shirt that ordered for her off of Etsy.

Cake Mama: October 2014
http://cakemamacakes.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Who is the Cake Mama? View my complete profile. Monday, October 27, 2014. I have to be honest with you. Cut-out cookies are my least favorite cookies to make. They take so much time, they take so much work, and they make such a big mess. But you know what? My kids and my husband LOVE them and it gives the girls the opportunity to "help" me in the kitchen. That bonding time is what makes all of the work and mess totally worth it. She made some brilliant cookies! Josie has developed into quite the artist!

Cake Mama: Baby Cakes
http://cakemamacakes.blogspot.com/2013/06/baby-cakes.html
Who is the Cake Mama? View my complete profile. Sunday, June 16, 2013. I've done this cake before. But not for Christine, a wonderful gal I went to high school with. I was SUPER excited to help her out with a baby shower she was helping to plan at her work. The mother-to-be requested a confetti cake and that's what both of these were. Confetti cake with vanilla buttercream filling. I wish I meant to do it, but I love how the cake round under the head looks like a baby bonnet. A happy accident!

Who is the Cake Mama? View my complete profile. Monday, January 26, 2015. Angela requested a cake for her daughter, and two other children in her family who were all celebrating birthdays around the same time. Elliana and Madison are both gymnasts and Tyler is a soccer player. She requested that I incorporate something about each of them into the cake. I also liked the idea of using silhouettes to represent each of the special birthday kids. Labels: Cake for gymnasts and a soccer player. That was a fun c...
