He is showing so much more connection with the world now, showing more interest in communication and in turn we are watching our son's personality become more whole. He has also become a lot more attached or rather clingy. He's a lot more like 30 lbs! And he simply can't give enough hugs to our dear doggie...

Monday, November 8, 2010. Also she could beat just about anyone at poker, so watch out! After spending a few days at my Aunt's house in PA we headed up to Canada with my parents in their VW camper. We made it home in a record time of 12 hours, (usually takes my parents 13! Oh does this boy ever love wagons! But at my Aunt's house he surprisingly, after being there for a few days, helped himself to a cookie, and after that he just had to have more! Here's lil O sleeping away on one of our many car rides.

This morning I woke up craving yogurt and granola, unfortunatly we were out of granola, however I saw this as a perfect oppertunity to finally get around to making some homemade granola. The recipe I found online turned out great, I'll be surprised if there is any left by Friday! From "Baked: New Frontiers in Baking" by Matt Lewis and Renato Poliafito. 2 cups rolled oats. 3 tablespoons plus 1 teaspoon vegetable oil. 1/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar. 1/3 cup whole almonds.
