Highly resistant to rust, and 1/8" thick, the mesh will hold its shape and perform for many years. The trim is a high quality durable sand finish vinyl with internal aluminum 'teeth' to grab and hold the mesh. This has NOT been polished, and the photos have not been retouched in any way. The midprofile grille fits on a standard Miata (base or LS) about 2 to 3 inches from the lip edge. The midprofile grille does require that the tiedown hooks be removed prior to installing.
