Stowell Family 123: Pirate Birthday!
http://stowellfamily123.blogspot.com/2010/08/pirate-birthday.html
David, Lucy, Eliza, Benjamin, and Joshua. Thursday, August 19, 2010. Our little Benjamin turned 4 yesterday. We celebrated the day "pirate style." We decorated a pirate cake, colored parrots and ship pictures, and even discovered our very own treasure map! It was lots of fun looking for the "buried loot" in the backyard! Ben had a "super, awesome" day. He is so excited to be four because that means he can run even faster! Happy Birthday big guy! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

The Schenck House: Summer fun
http://schenckfam.blogspot.com/2009/07/summer-fun.html
Thursday, July 9, 2009. Jed had a week off of work last week so I wanted to make sure that we got out and actually did things. It's hard to believe that we packed in so much stuff in such a short time. We went to Lagoon, camped a night at Bear Lake, spent a few nights in Park City and had Fourth of July fun with family. Here are some pics of our adventures. I love Bear Lake! Gary, Helen and Karly camped with us and then Skip and Sarah came up and hung out with us the second day we were there.

Stowell Family 123: Camping!! Who Knew?!
http://stowellfamily123.blogspot.com/2010/09/camping-who-knew.html
David, Lucy, Eliza, Benjamin, and Joshua. Sunday, September 5, 2010. Who knew camping could be so much fun? For Dave's graduation gift and celebration we decided to buy a tent and some sleeping bags. I am so glad we did. Living in Idaho we are just a hop, skip, and a jump away from some beautiful mountains and camping spots. We have just touched the surface this year and hope to continue our adventures next year. September 6, 2010 at 6:01 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

The Schenck House: April 2010
http://schenckfam.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 9, 2010. Happy Birthday to Kyler! Kyler turned two last week and we had a birthday party for him with a cake that Jed decorated himself. I had wanted to have a friend make it for us but Jed didn't want to pay anyone to do it and said that he would take care of it. After taking half a day off of work and 3 hours later this is the finished product. I think he did an amazing job! After all the birthday fun, we packed our bags and headed down to St. George with Jed's family for the Easter b...

Stowell Family 123: Small miracles
http://stowellfamily123.blogspot.com/2009/12/small-miracles.html
David, Lucy, Eliza, Benjamin, and Joshua. Thursday, December 31, 2009. Christmas itself is a beautiful miracle. The meaning, the transformation of the individual spirit, and the wide-eyed wonder of little ones. This year we got an added bonus. Snow. Dallas experienced it's first official white Christmas in over 80 years. It started to snow Christmas Eve and lasted all the way through Christmas day. Now that is a miracle. at least a small one that we got to enjoy. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

The Schenck House: June 2009
http://schenckfam.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, June 18, 2009. Boys, boys, boys. Today I went shopping to the mall with the three boys, I know - what was I thinking? Walking beside me as I looked at whatever I wanted to look at.it was like there was sweet music playing all around us. I kept checking to see if they were beside me and yep, there they were, not hiding in the clothes rack or playing tag. What had gotten into them? They were behaving like angels. It was a weird day and what was even weirder (more weird? What do I say to that?
