Well, the time finally came for the Kiltwalk. We woke early on Sunday to make our way down to Vicky Park for the 9am start. The weather was looking very good for the day ahead. Let's do this thing! I did the first bit playing with the Buckie Pipe Band. I was leading for the first half a mile! The ant's go marching two by two. Howdy there. I'm David and this is my website. It's a bit sparse round here these days, but I think I prefer it that way. I'm currently a software developer in Aberdeen working for Codify. Mostly Wpf / Silverlight / MVC / C# / SQL Server sorts of stuff. I play bagpipes for Portlethen and District Pipe Band. And also when I have time for Buckie and District Pipe Band. I play a bit of traditional flute, penny whistle and mandolin. I also take thousands of photos, and occasionally get a half decent one.

Buckie And District Pipe Band. The Buckie and District Pipe Band comes from the small fishing town of Buckie. Moray, in the North East of Scotland. Our members come from other various towns in the surrounding area; from Portsoy to Fochabers to Elgin. The pipe band was founded in 1988 and is still going strong today. New recruits are always welcome in the ranks. Our most recent trip was to Sint-Michielsgestel in Holland. Anyway, we hope you enjoy our website, and as they say in Buckie:.
