Our award-winning supported employment scheme helps develop key skills which enable people to find employment which is right for them. Our clients at Thrift Farm gain experience in a variety of roles, at Food4Thought Café, the Market Garden, the shop or out and about on the farm. Many of our clients go on to an apprenticeship or a paid role, either at Thrift Farm or within another organisation.

Things to see and do. We’re open seven days a week! Except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. There’s no charge to visit our Food4Thought Café. So pop in for coffee and cake or a delicious hot breakfast or lunch. Thrift Farm welcomes you to come and play every day, seven days a week, all year round! Our Farm Park is open from 9.30am until 4.00pm. Our Café is open from 10am, last orders for hot food is at 3pm and last orders is at 3.30pm. Family ticket - 2 adults, 2 children.

The Thomas Ball Children's Cancer Fund. Was founded in 1999 by Thomas Ball, then aged 9 and himself undergoing treatment for neuroblastoma stage four which had been diagnosed some 20 months earlier. The main objective of tbccf. Is to relieve sickness and distress among children suffering from cancer and members of their families. We do this in any way that the trustees feel will be beneficial to the sick child, usually in the form of medical equipment, holidays, special gifts and research. Thomas, aged 13.
