Planting | BUDDHAS GARDEN
http://www.buddhasgarden.net/Planting.htm
Much like Minnesotans are always talking about the weather, gardeners are always talking about what they are planting or have planted. So here is what I have planned for the year! I will have to admit that I may have went a little overboard with the mail order catalogs this year. Spring fever hit me in a bad way back in February and a little catalog retail therapy seemed to be the answer at the time. I’m sure there will be many more plants bought this spring at the greenhouses! 9 You are done! Now hang o...
Gardening | BUDDHAS GARDEN

A wild-flower garden has a most attractive sound. One thinks of long tramps in the woods, collecting material, and then of the fun in fixing up a real for sure wild garden. Suppose you find dog-tooth violets and wind-flowers growing near together. Then place them so in your own new garden. Suppose you find a certain violet enjoying an open situation; then it should always have the same. You see the point, do you not?
VEGETABLE CULTURE | BUDDHAS GARDEN
http://www.buddhasgarden.net/VEGETABLE_CULTURE.htm
Bush beans are planted in drills about eighteen inches apart, while the pole-bean rows should be three feet apart. The drills for the bush limas should be further apart than those for the other dwarf beans say three feet. This amount of space gives opportunity for cultivation with the hoe. If the running beans climb too high just pinch off the growing extreme end, and this will hold back the upward growth.

Buddha's Gifts
I'm a 62 year old decorated US Marine Vietnam veteran with severe PTSD and Agent Orange exposure. My journey is just beginning into the world of Buddha, Buddhism and possibly as a Buddhist. As a life long agnostic/atheist I find much of what Buddha taught to be very useful in my life, just as the teachings and words of Gandhi and so may others offered ideals of absolute wisdom. Sunday, September 18, 2011. Getting To Buddha The Hard Way. Pain is inevitable. Suffering is not. Again, I must remember this ev...
Buddha's Gifts | Just another WordPress.com site
Just another WordPress.com site. Roundabout Path To Buddha. I was asked recently why I suddenly decided to study Buddha and the precepts of Buddha after all these years of proclaiming myself an atheist or, at best, an agnostic. The short answer is that I’m still leaning towards Atheism and Agnosticism as my view of reality. The long answer is more complicated. Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment. Again, I must remember this every day. I hav...
