As pretty as a picture. Monday, April 16, 2007. I seem to be finishing approximately 1 picture per month, which I guess is not bad given they take me a while. This one is just a bit larger than A4 size, on drafting film with coloured pencil (Prismacolour and Polychromos). I can't wait to get it framed, I think it will look great. As pretty as a picture. Thursday, December 27, 2007. Like a Tiger *grrrrrrr*. So, after much angst and gnashing of teeth, I have finally finished my first animal oil painting! I couldn't post it here when I finished because I was giving it to my husband as a surprise for Christmas and I know he has sent this link to people. I'm pretty damned happy with it. I am especially pleased with how the feet turned out given they were looking awfully like horrible blobs for a while there! Oh, and Jay's reaction?
