Tuesday, September 29, 2009. Canyon is our sensitive guy. He is our homebody, our snuggler and our worrier. He is always worried about everybody. He is also pretty darn funny and he LOVES to laugh. Monday, May 31, 2010. In four weeks we will leave this place we have called home for the last three years. It really is bittersweet. We have really grown to love the south and made some amazing friends. We are excited to move on to the next phase of life without school and with paychecks! Monday, March 21, 2011. Mardi Gras SLC style! No one can leave New Orleans without a love for Mardi Gras! We will carry out the tradition even though we are miles and miles away. I shipped in Crawfish from the Louisiana swamps and we had ourselves a proper boil! I also made an amazing King cake, and some beignets. And some spicy gumbo and Jambalaya! Wednesday, July 13, 2011. SIDE NOTE- With Brinley my water broke 2 1/2 weeks early. I had 0 contractions until I was dialated past a 6. Those contractions were only felt strongly from pitosin. So this pregnancy, after I was 37 1/2 weeks I was kind of freeking out of how things were going to go.and they couldn't have gone better! The rest went great. Had my c-section and healed fast. I had 0 out-of-it moments and feel great! The hospital food is still worth the 3 days of being there. Little Bits of Heaven.

Monday, April 19, 2010. Lyssa's insistence on naming our baby boy "Chubby little Guy", turned out to be prophetic. Mason. Joined our family on April 13th at 8:11am weighing in a. 21 1/2 in long.
