Tuesday, November 22, 2005. This past weekend I went to the seaside vacation hotspot of Mar Del Plata. You might recognize it from the news footage of George Bush's recent visit during the Summit of the Americas. It was much more tranquil during my visit :). Wednesday, September 28, 2005. Bariloche is supposed to be a place resplendent in natural beauty (i.e. surrounded by lakes and mountains). A group of 4 of us are going from the program, and we're planning on getting in a few days of skiing and snowboarding between now and Sunday. Saturday, January 06, 2007. My vacation is drawing to a close - 10 days to go. Right now, I m in San Pedro de Atacama, Chile, which is homebase for 3 days as I explore the various desert/mountain sites located nearby. All in all, a great few days. Shouldn t be a problem normally, but, Bolivia has very little infrastructure and its impossible to know whether buses will be full or not. I ll hope for the best! Posted by saublecottages at 3:22 PM.
