A Little piece of Paradise. Thursday, March 21, 2013. Today marked the beginning of your last course of treatment, by the time it finishes, it will be almost one year since you were diagnosed. It's been a long, trying year for you, one which has forced you to dig deep at times to get through it. I wish that I could take some of your pain and tiredness for you, to give your body a break from it all. You will get through this, radiation is a walk in the park compared to the hell that chemo put you through!

A Little piece of Paradise. Tuesday, September 11, 2012. The sun shone a little brighter today. September 11 - 11 years ago today, the world changed when two planes crashed into the Twin Towers in New York. Killing innocent human beings, devastating people's lives, destroying hope. My sister was due to be in those buildings on that day 11 years ago, but due to being heavily pregnant with my nephew, she wasn't allowed to fly. Someone was definitely looking out for her on this day. Links to this post.

A Little piece of Paradise. Sunday, October 30, 2011. Today we had a little bake up - nothing too fancy, just a few tasty treats. I made a batch of lemon slice for Charlie's b'day which is coming up, we always keep some of this in the freezer for any unexpected guest that arrives. Will whipped up some coffee scrolls and cheesy-mite scolls, yummo, these were all for us! Nothing makes me happier than when we can make beautiful meals for our family that they can enjoy.
