Building at the Avenue: Visiting

http://buildingattheavenue.blogspot.com/2011/10/we-were-away-for-weekend.html

Building at the Avenue. Diary of our first house build: the "Montague" with Rawdon Hill in "The Avenue At Casey" estate. Coat of Many Colours. Monday, October 3, 2011. Click image for larger view). The en-suite has been tiled, floor and walls. The bench-top has been put in - just waiting for the plumbing, mirror, shower-screen and clean. Here you can see the detail of the feature tiles behind the en-suite sinks a bit better. The shiny feature tiles are stainless-steel. yum. Nice and moody in here. Tiles ...

Building at the Avenue. Diary of our first house build: the "Montague" with Rawdon Hill in "The Avenue At Casey" estate. Coat of Many Colours. Saturday, September 24, 2011. Complete, but not. On the positive side, we sorted out why we thought we had paid a variation and they didn't. lets just say we are going to have the cost of the variation ($217.50) still left to draw out of our home-loan when the final claim is made. Anyway, enough with the boring blather, on with the pictures. Kitchen - yay the corn...

Building at the Avenue. Diary of our first house build: the "Montague" with Rawdon Hill in "The Avenue At Casey" estate. Coat of Many Colours. I think everyone has some regrets when going through the building process, things you learn to do better the next time (though a lot of people say, "never again"). Here are some of the things I think are worth considering:. If I missed anything you found from your build, please comment on this page! It's not the deal, it's the overall cost that counts. Building at the Avenue. Diary of our first house build: the "Montague" with Rawdon Hill in "The Avenue At Casey" estate. Coat of Many Colours. Tuesday, September 20, 2011. Well not much anyway. When we took a look over the weekend ALL the windows were blacked out (plastic), so we couldn't see a thing. The only thing that indicated progress was the painted gables and garage roof (and an empty bucket of paint). Seem to be full on painting.guy painting eaves on weekend. http://fromcharlesgreentocharlbury.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html

From Charles Green to Charlbury. Friday, November 25, 2011. Yes, thats right folks, we got into our lovely house. A chance trip down to do some measuring from outside, and David wanted to show me how the garage light goes on when you open the back garage door, and I did my usual check of the door into the pantry, and it was unlocked! Anyway, moving on, WE GOT IN! So glad we decided to lash out on them, they really look magnificent! Only 6 days to go till PCI! Posted by Janine K. Tuesday, November 22, 2011.

Gavs, Vanessas, Nicholas and Baileys New Home. Rawdon Hill, Canterbury Heritage and Marriot Waters. Thursday, July 23, 2009. Well it has been a long time. Well it has been a long time between drinks on our blog. Sorry for the lack of updates since we moved in it has been a ride of fun and games in the last 6 or so months. But I hope to have some updates coming this way very soon, as I have been nagged by many to remove a certain digit from a certain location and get something happening. Mad Mel's new home.

From Charles Green to Charlbury. Thursday, September 29, 2011. It has been a week since we had our little inspection of the floorboards that have been installed in the house, and once again we have been locked out! Imagine my frustration when on visiting last Sunday I can see that our kitchen and bathroom cabinets have been installed and I CAN'T GET IN to see them. This means, please sir, can I come in? See the skirting boards ready to go! A Glimpse of my great pantry. This will need to be replaced!

Firstly its Megan's birthday on Monday so we decided to celebrate it today, as I have to work tomorrow afternoon and we all work on Monday.
