I put the two stem pieces, bow together, on one horse. I put the transom end of each side on another saw horse each. I held them up using pipe clamps as can be seen above. T long and it must be straight and level so that when you glue the two pieces together you have a reasonably perfect fit. Once I finally figured out how to get the the thing mounted and to cut an angle, it did cut a pretty good piece of the plywood off and it was obvious to me that I was going to be stuck sanding it down to it final shape.
