Last night was the last session for module 2. time realli flies eh! Sigh a bit sentimental when we were presenting the gifts for Alvin, Veron and Terence. =(. We all chipped in and gave three of them a branded(! Pen, a mug, and a personalised laminated photo, from FLCs! Hehe dunno whether they peeped under the mugs, they'll be in for a surprise there!

Today is a very special day for me. not only is it hubby's birthday i've received my license to solemnize marriages! It is a tall order indeed. Being married for 8 years now. i have so much to share with couples-to-be, the ups and downs that is inevitable, etc etc etc. Nonetheless, i feel honoured and blessed to be able to give my blessings to couples!

Elise Family Life Champion, Kampong Chai Chee {blog established since 7 January 2008}. Monday, January 7, 2008. What is a Family Life Champion? A Family Life Champion (FLC) is a grassroots leader appointed by the Citizen Consultative Committee (CCC) Chairman in the constituency to champion and promote family life in the community. 84 FLCs were appointed since March 2005. To champion the notion of celebrating marriages, 34 FLCs have been appointed as licensed solemnisers since 24 August 2005.
