Bump in the road - my journey with cancer and beyond. Saturday, 31 December 2016. 12 weeks post chemo hair! Slow and steady wins the race right? Wednesday, 28 December 2016. Today was radiation #10,. So I am now in double digits and also one third of the way done! Tuesday, 27 December 2016. You can't show courage without fear.". To all my breast cancer sisters, we are queens of courage! Bump in the road - my journey with cancer and beyond. Thursday, 12 January 2017. I did radiation #20 today! I am officially two thirds done. My skin is tanned except for near the neck that is a bit pink/burnt. I am also sore and sensitive. I have some fatigue. But all in all I think I am doing well given the circumstances. 5 more regular treatments to go and then the last 5 are "boosters" directed at the area where my lump was. Hoping for an uneventful and smooth rest of treatment! Skin and Hair update.
