Salvation comes through repentance, and God’s forgiveness for sins. The only guaranteed way to salvation is through faith in Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

We were away when the roses were in their full glory this year, so we missed them… I popped out today to grab some photos of those flowers that were about, and managed to get some more or less in focus, despite the breeze. Planted up the hanging baskets myself and really pleased with how they’ve developed (especially as I’ve remembered to feed them regularly). Noticing the good things in life. What’s it all about? A favourite season… well actually I like them all, just as long as there aren’t too many grey days! Today was a grey day which muted the colours, but the the temperature was mild and Autumn joy is still there and being appreciated every time I go out and walk through the drifts of leaves along the roads, pavements and paths. We went to visit my parents for a weekend, and as we were up in the summer when the weather was good Dad was very keen that I have the opportunity to climb up their church. Belltower. I’m not brilliant with heights so I wimped out of going to the very top, but I did enjoy the views from the main roof level. It was a beautiful summer evening so the views across the village were stunning – full of warm sunshine and gentle light.
