Ridership Independence for the Disabled in Buncombe County. RIDE provides non-emergency transportation services for disabled residents of Buncombe County who are unable to access the City’s ART (Asheville Redefines Transit) bus system or Mountain Mobility Trailblazer routes. To qualify, you must reside within Buncombe County and meet the following criteria:. Disabled (evidence of disability may be required). To use the RIDE service, you must be registered as an eligible customer directly with the program.

Ridership Independence for the Disabled in Buncombe County. Because of this program, I am much more independent and don’t have to rely as heavily on others for transportation. Thank you. Thanks for this wonderful opportunity. This has been a life-saver and I would like to see it help more people. It has been there when nobody else was. My wife and I use RIDE to go out on dates, have dinner with friends or just go the grocery store. I wish there were more programs out there like this.
