This WordPress.com site is the bee's knees. Skip to primary content. 28 Weeks- Hospital Bag and Updates. July 24, 2014. I know, I know. I don’t need to pack my hospital bag just yet. I don’t need to be that organised, but I’m a bit of a nut bar and I feel much more in control of the things in my life when I have things in order. The nursery is complete and I have closed the door and my mind is completely relaxed, knowing the baby’s room is ready to receive him, whenever he arrives. 8211; Lip Balm. 8211; ...

Slightly Dramatic, Completely Honest, One Woman's Journey with Infertility. How He Got Here. Not surprisingly, this post has taken me three days to write/finish. I started this on Friday when he was 11 days old. Wow, where have the past 11 days gone? So in my previous couple of posts I talked about how I woke up Saturday, May 24. Feeling different and exhibiting some signs that perhaps something would be happening soon. Sunday the 25. I woke up feeling somewhat better, but Monday the 26. If I had been th...

Somewhere Under the Willow Tree. What we did to up our chances…. At around 8 months, I bought a book. I chose the book Making Babies. J wasn’t able to make it to the ultrasound, but I was able to capture a short video on my phone so he could hear our baby’s heart. We finally got the combined results from my blood test and ultrasound, and we came back with a low risk of Down's Syndrome (about 1 in 7000). Hooray! It was such a relief and it now means that we can spread the word. So many people know already, especially our friends in Australia but now we can tell the world! Ok maybe not the world, but at least our friends and family in the UK. The question is how do we do it? 12 week scan - whoop, whoop. The good, the bad and the ugly. Courtesy of Wallpaper Vortex.

Next week for the induction, I. I don't have a birth plan as I have no idea what labour will be like and how I will cope with labour. I prefer to go with the flow, be flexible and follow the advice of the midwives. The strangest thing is getting our heads around the fact that we are going to be parents next week. How did that happen? Basil has started to prepare his work and team for his absence and I'm starting to think about all the things I wanted to get done before the baby arrives like our taxes!

I'm begging you for Mercy. On a positive note, my belly is really starting to protrude, so much so that friends are asking Basil if I am pregnant. My pregnancy is really the worst kept secret! I don't mind, I actually love people knowing and if it all goes pear-shaped, then I know I will have a lot of support. One weird symptom that I think is pregnancy related is that I am suffering from a sore tailbone! I may get some looks but at least I will be comfortable! From Tasmania with Love. Think I just want ...

Wind me up. Grrrrrr. Glad you are going well. If the baby is a little on the small side and healthy that can only be a good thing for you and your lady bits Mama! People always used to say I was small, I think all women carry babies differently. There are those crazy flat pregnancies where people don't even know they're pregnant. I must admit when someone said I was small I was tempted to teach them a lesson by saying 'omg, do you think something is wrong? Haha I might try that one! The Two Week Wait.

Bun in the Oven Birthing is based in Chelmsford, Essex and offers hypnobirthing classes to expectant parents, taught by me Linda McNeill, a qualified hypnobirthing teacher. I believe completing a hypnobirthing course is the most valuable preparation a mother and her partner can undertake while awaiting the birth of their child. Bun in the Oven. Baking, cooking and all things related to good food. Tuesday, June 16, 2009. TWD: Honey Peach Ice Cream. This is Bella and her mom Teresa. Their family has been visiting us this past week from Florida. Bella will be four in July and I don't think it's ever too early to learn how to make ice cream. I didn't have any trouble convincing her. Good thing this week's TWD recipe happened to be Honey Peach Ice Cream. There she is cooking the peaches and honey. We have Tommi of Brown Interior.

Bun in the Oven | foodie adventure though conception and beyond
Bun in the Oven. Foodie adventure though conception and beyond. Merry Christmas to one and all! Yesterday was a very exciting day for everyone but especially for my husband as he felt our baby kick for the first time (23 weeks and 3days). I of course have been feeling baby for several weeks now, but its so lovely to be able to share our little dancer with him! And what a wonderful day for it to happen, I think it maybe one of those things he’ll remember for the rest of his life 🙂. 20 weeks scan photo.
