Tuesday, December 31, 2013. One of those year review thingy's. I had a birthday in April. I turned 22.again. My cousins made me a wicked awesome movie. You should definitely watch their amazing vocal talent. They are my favorite singers EVER! Click this link and see for yourselves. It's the one titled Keely's Birthday Song! Its the link after that one that's highlighted in blue. June, July, and August were pretty quiet. We made a few trips down to the river to "try" and wakeboard. I feel like I s...Casey...

http://therichmanslife.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 1, 2012. Where did February Go? I honestly can't believe that it's the 1st of March already. It feels like Christmas was just yesterday. Seeing how the month disappeared without me knowing it, I'll write a recap of the oh so exciting events that went down at the Richman residence. It may be long so bare with me. Here we go. The rest of the month flew by in a flash. Big Ivan had a Birthday party and we watched the fights. Watched the Super Bowl at Browns. Browns blessed baby Zenna. We are ...

A RichMans Life: April 2015
http://therichmanslife.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 14, 2015. In memory of Luke. I figured more people take the time to fully read my blog, rather than just posting this entire thing as a facebook post. Now this is going to require some effort on everyones part. I don't want everyone reading this and think "Oh that's a great idea! Here is what I am cooking up. This is the part where you come in. I am begging you all to please help me make this work! I can't do it without you guys. If you could, please email them or send them by mail. I have...

A RichMans Life: December 2014
http://therichmanslife.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 19, 2014. That one time when I became a Mom. I figured I had better write this whole experience down before I started forgetting some of it. I can't believe I've offically been a Mom for over a month now! Time keeps flying and I don't think it's going to slow down anytime soon. So here it is.my adventure on becoming a mommy. Did my water just break or did I pee? I WANT THIS KID OUT! Now I have to have drugs to get things flowing? Am I going to give my kid brain damage having this done?

The Missing Piece: February 2015
http://eileen-themissingpiece.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Creating art piece by piece. Snow day in North Carolina = progress! You've got to love a snow day - especially in North Carolina! Fabulous 5-6 inches of snow Thursday morning. Absolutely beautiful everywhere we looked! Got to stay home from work and play! Working on a king-sized Christmas quilt. They are just up on the design wall right now. It's now time to start sewing rows. The snow is beginning to melt and a look at next week's weather looks like Spring. Hope your neck of the woods is warming up!

The Missing Piece: Coasters, coasters, and more coasters
http://eileen-themissingpiece.blogspot.com/2014/12/coasters-coasters-and-more-coasters.html
Creating art piece by piece. Coasters, coasters, and more coasters. I recently volunteered to make 64 coasters for our Holiday lunch at work. I don't which I love to do more, play with scraps or trying to make a dent into my container of Christmas scraps! Pieced them together to make 4 1/2" squares. In groups of 4, I quilted them with straight line quilting. Nothing fancy just lines with red thread. Hope you're having a blast getting ready for the holidays! Thanks for stopping by! The Missing Piece: October 2014
http://eileen-themissingpiece.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Creating art piece by piece. Yep, it's been a while. Going back to work sure puts a crimp in my time! Over the past few months, I've been making 4 1/2" squares. Here they are in no particular arrangement on my design wall. After many weeks of staring and rearranging I came up with this - 8 of the same color with the middle being scraps of white with a touch of the color. I added 3 1/2" black kona sashing. I made last year. Thanks for stopping by! Sew Many Ways @ http:/ sewmanyways.blogspot.com/.

The Missing Piece: QAYG - almost done!
http://eileen-themissingpiece.blogspot.com/2013/03/qayg-almost-done.html
Creating art piece by piece. QAYG - almost done! I've taken pictures of the final row. This is the method of connecting two quilted sections together. You can see above, I have pinned the top sashing piece (brown) and the bottom sashing piece (blue). Top piece is 4 1/2 inches folded and pressed in half - raw edges of the sashing lined up with the raw edge of the quilt. Bottom piece (blue) is 2 1/2" and positioned right side together with the back of the quilt. Folding over the front sashing, press and pin.
