The Buol Family Blog. Sunday, January 20, 2008. Allison and Makaela swapped rooms, and we started decorating with Makaela's rainforest room. First the sky ceiling with clouds, then the walls. Then we started chalking out the characters and trees so that when we painted them, the chalk would be absorbed into the paint and not visable like a pencil drawing would be. Here is the panda bear chalked and the beginning of the painting. Here is the palm tree behind the door and one of the finished flying macaws.

Wednesday, July 4, 2012. Wow, time sure has been going fast the last month! The last 2 days I have had a migraine, and today is already the 4th of July! I feel like I have gotten nothing done in the past week and a half. I had big plans for this week, but have just been down for the count. After getting for (off-brand) Excedrin Migraine (it is on recall still) I am feeling better, at least I can open my eyes without feeling sick! Now that is a reason for concern! God Bless the USA! Tuesday, September 23, 2008. Why did we get a pet again? This is what I was greated with when I went to the bathroom today. Poor kitty had it all in her fur. I'm not a fan of pets, I have been against getting one for years. I thought about a turtle last year, or a hermit crab. but didn't want the work that went with it. So why a tiny kitten now? Monday, June 4, 2012. It is Monday, and I am loving life! I had a few people tell me yesterday that I look happier than I have in a long time. My reply was "That's what happens when you obey God.". Today Alex is heading off to Adventureland with the youth group. This will be the first time for him to go do something like this aside from school field trips. Makaela watches the parade with her SEP beads on! Band competition in Johnston, Iowa. The band always does great and gets really good scores! The SEP marching band playing at a home football game! Allison was off with friends, so we took Makaela to Adventureland for the day. Makaela and her friend Casie on the chair lift ride.
