This play between survival of predator and prey. This often mirrors our sexual lives as men, the need to seek and conquer for a given purpose. Beyond the logistics of who will be buyers of my line, as a visual person I felt the need to see my K V man so I took being inspired and collecting visuals that embodied to me a self confident man, knowing what they want, living on the edge, owning the space around them, and gets dressed to please themselves and no one else. A GREAT read and big inspiration on translating my creative thought patterns into business viability. One of the chapters dealt with trends, trendsetters, influencers, etc and I loved it so much I read it 3 times over. While researching the players within the accessories market I came across an up and coming jewelry designer whose designs both fell within my lines current aesthetic and marketing process was spot on with my long term plans (insert sad face). He goes by the name Nick Von K and he creates beautifully intricate pieces carved and metallic pieces. Bravo Nick Von K. you inspire me as a self taught designer as well that it can be done.
