And he's here! Truman Scott Peterson was born yesterday (March 19) at 7:45 am, here in Tucson, AZ. He weighed in at (officially) 8 lbs 6 1/2 oz and his length is debtable- 20 1/2 inches, or a little less or more. It is hard to measure newborns. Kathryn weighed about the same when she was born! The Barnette Family: No One Gets Left Behind. Sunday, April 19, 2009. We had a wonderful Easter! On Saturday, the day dawned cold and foggy. We traveled down to the Phoenix area to have and Easter dinner with Eedad's family. As we left, the fog was so thick there was maybe a quarter of a mile visibility! Such crazy Easter weekend weather! His sister and her husband were kind enough to host everyone and took on the brunt of the work of making fried chicken (my favorite! I failed at taking pictures though.

Our corner of the world may not be much, but it's ours! Sunday, December 13, 2009. When I blog I really blog! So I ran a 5K in October and loved every minute of it! Now I'm addicted to running! I've been running about 20 miles a week since then. And I'm going to run a 10 k in June and a half Marathon next October. For someone who has NEVER enjoyed running this is a BIG deal. I actually really enjoy it. And a great benefit is I've lost 12 pounds since the beginning. Now I'm going to be teaching a triathlon.
