Dunfermline based renewable energy developer Burcote Wind has announced dates for public exhibitions to inform local people about new proposals for Sandy Knowe wind farm located 1.7km south-west of Kirkconnel in Upper Nithsdale. The new proposals come on the back of a Scottish Government decision in February 2015 not to grant planning consent for a 30-turbine scheme because of landscape and visual impact concerns.
