This is one of the least well-known Cote d'Or appellations in part because it is small, in part because it lacks vineyards on the Cote itself. The whole appellation is snuggled down on the Saone plane. I wonder if I am being brainwashed though by the Tollot-Beaut offerings since I have tasting notes for 2011. Chablis entra por la puerta grande en los Hospices de Beaune de la mano de Jean-Marc Brocard, vigneron à Préhy que acaba de donar parte de sus viñedos a la prestigiosa obra de caridad. Se trata de una primicia para estas viñas icono del Chablisien. Ha donado una parcella de premier cru "Côte de Léchet" que deberían producir entre 1.500 et 2.000 bouteilles por añada.
