Galatea: September 2008
http://pangalatea.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
A woman born from the warmth of her lovers hand; art brought to life by its artist. Thursday, September 18, 2008. Still sleepless in Essex. On consciousness and sleep. Apparently all I needed was to be talked into letting myself just fall asleep and not trying to talk myself into falling asleep. Here's a second draft of the poem:. Finding Sleep (A.K.A Battling Insomnia). When my heart is broken. And you are not there,. Where can I find my solace? Left alone, I am sleepless. That will not subside. Which, ...

A woman born from the warmth of her lovers hand; art brought to life by its artist. Wednesday, January 13, 2010. It's a Chronic Life. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Pygmalion kneeling in front of his statue. Its a Chronic Life. When I consider how my light was spent, I want to . I know that you cannot see all that is in me,. Like the statue entreated to Venus,. Of Pygmalion's love,. Hidden within the marble,. No other has lines like mine. With an immortal stare,. Fresh and contemplative,.

Tuesday, March 31, 2009. I bleed her visions vivid and verbose. Wrought words weep from wounds. Tightly tied tourniquets of text and tone. I, by her infrequent indulgences do illuminate;. Exigent examinations express enthusiasm,. Or, on occasion,. I, rabble-rousing raconteur,. Revisit rural rumors with relish,. A fanciful fetish fraught with folly;. Lines laced with laudable. Alliteration alleviate her need . . . I, at times, pen posturing poetry. Adapting ardor to odor,. Yet I am not amused. Aimless sca...

Sunday, June 28, 2009. Legacy (For Michael Jackson). Start music to "I Want You Back (Jackson 5)". Starling child, standing tall,. Center of attention,. You who moved more hearts and minds. Than most would care to mention. As a boy you gave your voice. And smiled for all to see. Bringing beats and rhythmic choice. Then you grew from boy to man,. You stormed the music biz,. Showed the world a bolder plan,. Then when Thriller topped the charts,. We really came around,. You found those places in our hearts.

Amaranthine: House of Books
http://willow-amaranthine.blogspot.com/2008/11/house-of-books.html
Skipping self-consciously through rainy days. Saturday, 29 November 2008. Yesterday I visited my grandparents' house in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. They live in a farmhouse that is over a century old with two barns, an enormous vegetable garden, eight cats, a couple kittens and two very enthusiastic dogs. This was my first real visit in about 10 years. Oddly, I never thought about the connection between my grandparents and my love of reading. A lack of reading is a major character flaw? Burlington,...
