Almost Over the Rainbow. An experiment in creativity. Saturday, April 7, 2012. Step on a Crack and Break your Mamas Back. Apparently this adorable chub a lub has been stepping on a few cracks because a week before his brothers birthday he broke my back. Fortunately not literally but enough that an ambulance was called and a hospital stay ensued. The result. I was forced to use this to hobble about the house for a few days. Almost Over the Rainbow. An experiment in creativity. Sunday, August 19, 2012. Cy's First Slumber Party. Last night Cy got to have his very first sleep over with his bff Jonah. The babies began their first sleep over by doing a couple of ride-alongs with the local fire truck. Both boys wanted to drive the walker but Jonah convinced Cy that he had more experience with walker toys. This continued all night until the fire truck broke down. Next Jonah decreed it was time to raid the kitchen so they did.

Almost Over the Rainbow. An experiment in creativity. Monday, May 21, 2012. I can't believe it's been a year! Cy got to celebrate his birthday with his bff Jonah. They were born a day apart. First they had a little outside time. Then it was on to the serious business of partying. The poison of choice. At first there was some confusion as to what to do. But soon our little monster attacked. To the horror of his friend. Cy couldn't get enough so like any good monster he went looking for more.

Almost Over the Rainbow. An experiment in creativity. Monday, May 21, 2012. The boys ate goldfish. Dad read and Cy ate the remote. Before the first haircut,. Cy played the piano. And tackled his firetruck. He had some juice. And manned the door waiting for Brother to come home from school. Ginormous feet mean homemade shoes. And gets to wear makeup. At his first roadshow that is. Cy and his bff hangout. Cy figures out a speedier way to consume cereal. We go old school highchair with pillows and a scarf.

Thursday, February 9, 2012. Mom and Dad are going on a mission! So today I got a text from my Dad while I was teaching. It read, "Can you be at our house at 9:15? We have a letter from box B." I wrote back, "Is this for me? What is box B? Through the course of a couple additional texts, I learned that box B meant that they had received a mission call. What? This was the first I had heard about them and a mission. Wow that is so cool! How exciting for your family. February 10, 2012 at 11:49 AM.
