Napless Nora and her new brother!: July 2009
http://naplessnora.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
It's hard to believe that so much of summer has already passed us by. Of course, for those of you who live here, you know it hasn't exactly felt very summer-like in weeks past. Luckily it has finally arrived, and although it's very muggy, I won't complain. As long as it's not pouring I'm a happy camper. Nora is really starting to enjoy school. She still fights the nap big time, and has yet to sleep longer than forty minutes, and usually only twenty. Oh well, at least she's actually falling asleep! Nick a...

Napless Nora and her new brother!: January 2010
http://naplessnora.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
For your viewing pleasure. Just a couple videos of Nora doing her workout. These were taken before Christmas, but I just found them and thought you might enjoy. The noise in the background is the dvd I bought to work out at home with. Now and then Nora asks if she can watch it and I have to search for it. Obviously I use it a lot. Well, I warned you all that a big Christmas post was coming, and amazingly enough I've finished it before Valentine's Day! Well, not a. And of course, shoes. Obviously I didn't...

Okay, just kidding. I'm not sure what she was so excited about when her dad took this picture, but it doesn't really matter. Quite adorable, don't you think? Maybe At least she stays dry all night and is still diaper free during the day! And remember dear, sweet little Barkley? I'm sorry for such a random post, but I figured if someone was still reading this a month later you wouldn't mind! Look at her cute little. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). A new home for the blog. Napless Nora and her new brother!: August 2011
http://naplessnora.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
This weekend we took a trip to the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens. The annual Fairy House Festival was taking place and we arranged to meet Tara, Josh and the boys for the afternoon. After encountering some horrendous traffic, we finally made it down to Boothbay. It was a drizzly, gray afternoon, but we embraced the weather and made the most of our day. Here Nora is with a statue of the bear cub from Blueberries for Sal. Soon the boys arrived! The kids smile up to Shane in the bear cave. Pumping some wa...

Napless Nora and her new brother!: We're back- kind of!

We're back- kind of! I realize there is a. This pic was during a contraction. I was still able to speak between them at this point and just wanted to hide in a cave while they were going on. At one point Shane brought me his ear plugs and that helped a bit- I would just pop them in when I felt a contraction starting. And the two were introduced. Excited to meet him! The next morning the cousins came to visit. Here is Kalen holding Eli for the first time. What a great older cousin! A new home for the blog.

Last week quite a few crafting projects were finished, mostly by Shane. I came home from work one day to find the sewing area that I had been dreaming about for the past couple months come to life, complete with a new (lovingly used) sewing table! The custom thread holder made by Shane for me. Tara got this for me months ago, and I finally found a great place for it! And finally, the piece de resistance! Glimpses from our weekend. Aka: I'm too tired to think about writing anything real. The real exciteme...

Napless Nora and her new brother!: June 2011

Even though you can't really tell based on the weather, it is summer here. To celebrate, last night we went to a summer festival sponsored by the company I work for. Usually I'm consumed with a million things on the day of the festival, but this year, since I'm on maternity leave I wasn't involved in the planning/executing of the festival, so I got to enjoy it. Nora visits the petting zoo. Last year there wasn't a petting zoo, so it was great to see the kids enjoying one this year. Once the candy dropped...
