The Gaineys: December 2008
http://thegaineys.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Sunday, December 21, 2008. Every year Las Vegas Paving has the BEST Christmas party ever. They have a helicopter fly Santa in then every one gets a ride on the helicopter. And this is all thanks to Mr. Mendenhall. We love this guy! The last 2 years Jordan got to be one of Santa's helpers and fly in with Santa and help him hand out the presents. She has also become best friends with Tom the pilot. He is a blast. Jordan is his favorite elf! Birds eye view of the Mandalay Bay and THE hotel.

The English fam: September 2013

Tuesday, September 10, 2013. James did the St. George half ironman at the beginning of May. It was a tough race for him and he said it was just as hard or harder for him than the full. Sometimes on race day things just don't go your way. He was just glad to finish. Preston gave me my Mother's day card early and I was lauging so hard at the pictures he drew for me at the bottom. He described it as a green puppy with a french mustache holding a boulder. Totally relevant to Mother's day apparently. Preston ...

Monday, June 29, 2009. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO JORDAN. You had a birthday, shout Hooray! Jordan celebrated birthday number 19 on June 19th. She celebrated her special day by working then going to dinner and a movie with her boyfriend. Besides that, she got a new puppy. This is Pebbles. She is a 3 month old black and tan bloodhound. Next year, she won't be a teenager any more. It's hard to believe sometimes how fast the children grow up. Where has the time gone? Happy Birthday Jordan Sydney Gainey! Whitney just...

The Gaineys: August 2009
http://thegaineys.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 10, 2009. I have started this posting at least a dozen times but for some reason, it has been pretty difficult to write. Maybe it's because everytime I sit and think about the things I want to share, all of the emotions I experienced over the past 7 weeks come flooding back and it's pretty hard to see through the tears. I am going to attempt to share just a snapshot of this experience. It was so heartbreaking to watch as this disease so quickly took over mom's body in every way. Once again...

The English fam: Goodbye townhome!
http://utahenglishs.blogspot.com/2014/06/goodbye-townhome.html
Saturday, June 07, 2014. Hudson loves helmets and hats. He found daddy's hat and wanted a picture. This is her "silly face". Got a steal on our new fridge. It had some small scratches on the handles so we got it for $800 off of the list price! This is about double the size of our fridge in the townhome. We were cleaning out closets getting things in boxes. Hudson found the froggy potty for potty training and decided to make it a cowboy hat. Love that kid! Now I even have a couple of empty cabinets! Clair...

Sunday, September 20, 2009. Well, it has officially been confirmed. Mackenzie's seizures are back. I took her for her EEG last Thursday and it definitely showed that she is having the irregular brain waves in the right front portion of the brain (I'm not very technical) that are causing her the have the Absence or Partial seizures again. Mackenzie isn't too thrilled with this whole regimine again but she's a trooper with it all. Wednesday, September 9, 2009. 68% are 55 or older. 32% are 54 or younger.

Go Home - Nate: June 2009

Go Home - Nate. Thursday, June 18, 2009. Why do we Pray. My friend Megan posted a blog titled "Why do we pray? I wrote this very long response, and it turns out I can't leave it as a comment on her blog: this girl's life. Since I couldn't leave it there, I figured I'd leave it here. That way other people besides Megan can read my thoughts on Prayer. There are plenty of scriptures that deal with prayer. One of my favorite passages about prayer actually comes from the Bible Dictionary -. Alma 34:18 - 27.

Go Home - Nate. Thursday, February 5, 2009. Avoiding the New Baggage Fees. Taken from http:/ duckdown.blogspot.com. Ways to ignore airline baggage limits. Many of the airlines have placed weight restrictions on baggage. I figured I would share a tip that allows you to beat the 50 pound baggage limit. Of course, TSA is solely responsible for checking bags and doesn't really care if someone either adds or removes stuff prior to it being handed to them. In many airports, especially when crowded you coul...

Go Home - Nate: Snapshots of Magic
http://nategohome.blogspot.com/2009/10/snapshots-of-magic.html
Go Home - Nate. Monday, October 19, 2009. A lot of people have asked me how I can keep going back to Disneyland so often. My answer is simple: It's the magic! I thought I would take the opportunity of an 11 hour drive to write a little about it. I just hope I can give a peek at the fun I've had. Obviously these aren't the best quality pictures. I just wanted to show a little bit of the beauty if the lobby and lobby floor. The thing about the breakfast at the Storytellers cafe is that the characters aren'...
