These are my favourite places. The twelve screen Warner Village Cinema in Pilsworth is the second largest complex of its kind in Britain. Next door are Resteraunts and the Megabowl with 34 computerised lanes. In here is the Megabites diner and licensed bar plus video games area. The borough of Bury is made up of six towns. Consisting of Bury, Ramsbottom, Tottington, Radcliffe, Whitefield and Prestwich. Each borough having its own distinctive character, but still forming an intregal part of the Greater Manchester area. Bury is well known for the delicacy's of black puddings. A recipe which has been associated with Bury for over a century. The statue of Sir Robert Peel was erected in 1852. Sir Robert Peel was the person who formed the metropolitan police in 1829. They were formerly known as peelers or more commonly, bobbies. The Metrolink was the U.K's first on street rapid transport. Built in 1980. Proberly the oldest building in Bury is the Two Tubs. It was built in the early 18th century.
