Bushabout July 2014 - King Ash Bay. Tuesday, December 16, 2014. Bushabout - July-August 2014 - Port Lincoln to KAB. Great news - Air Asia X now flying direct to Adelaide from Kuala Lumpur from their new budget terminal KLIA2 - Whoa! What an impressive facility. Thus we booked Business Class (same cost as Thai via Perth) Alas we do not get to visit our family and friends in Perth. Now this is real seating! With no delays and a good connection we were soon in Port Lincoln and The Shed! Nola, Kayleen and Ian.

Bushabout - June 08 Port Hedland. Wednesday, July 30, 2008. Bushabout - Port Hedland - Brother Linden's place. We departed Cape Keraudren in the rain, all the way to Port Hedland pretty much. It was good to see, but it rained for four days and heavy at times. Plus it was cold and the Webasto (diesel fired heater) would not fire up. Found out we need to run it hot to DE-coke occasionally. The Satellite view does not give you any real scale, but it's 200k's from Mt Isa to Alderley Station, and about the same distance to Roxbough Downs. Frank had called John to get permission for us to camp on the station property. We took the short cut? Lake Katherine approx. 4 -5k's long and 60mtrs wide. Chock a block with 'REDCLAW'. Crossing the Georgina River to the station, at this time of year a trickle!

But all photo's prior to this lost when the smart card, bent whilst being pushed into the card reader. Anyway, only photo's of our getting bogged and our efforts to get out. Took the short cut across the mud flats - wagon track to Mt Ive Station. Never mind the big fish and sunset photo's at Lincoln National Park! Sue and Eslyn all ready and no customers for.
